The Quinta’s 30 hectares give us a glimpse of the village that gives it its name, with its harmonious gardens and surrounding areas with venues for events and parties; a winery where wines are produced exclusively from the Quinta’s extensive vineyards; a cattle farm, a farmhouse, a rural museum and finally a 19th century house museum.
The palace has four floors of absolute refinement. Inside, there are several outstanding features, such as the hand-painted walls and ceilings, large spaces, ornaments and luxurious furnishings that are still meticulously preserved from the 19th century. Outside, you can see the granite workmanship throughout the palace, the statues that dot the entrance and the harmonious, well-tended gardens that surround the entire space.
Finally, you can marvel at the village’s unique granite swimming pool, set in a wooded area with several ornamental and large trees.
In December 2012, it was classified by IGESPAR as a monument of public interest.
Restructured in 1991 by the current owner and her husband, the Quinta’s winery now has all the equipment, technology and structures for producing high-quality wines.
The Quinta’s wine follows strict selection rules and is produced exclusively from the harvests of one estate. This is a white Vinho Verde that stands out for its delicate, lively and light aroma, as well as its fine, fresh and smooth palate. Its capacity exceeds 140,000 litres per year, with an average of 16 barrels per hectare. The quality of this wine has led it to be awarded in various national and international competitions, having already won several gold and silver medals.
